*Parents are asked to come to the office to sign the release form or send a note of explanation in advance of a pre-arranged absence.
*It is necessary for the person picking up a student to come to the office to sign the log. Sign out is for the protection of the student.
*If a student is not in school, parents or guardians are expected to call MJHS by 9:00 a.m. or leave a message on voice mail.  See the Student Handbook.  *Medical Release: in the case of surgery, orthopedic injuries, and extended illnesses, a note is required from your student's physician regarding activity for recess, required gym classes, and sports participation.

Concessions will be open each Friday after school - only snacks will be sold.

Lanyards are available for sale in the office.  This is a convenient way to keep track of lunch cards.  The
cost is $2.00.

Morrison Junior High would like to thank the Morrison Athletic Boosters for funding the JH extra-curricular athletic tournaments.  The Athletic Boosters donated over $1300.00 to keep tournament participation available to JH athletes.
The Morrison Athletic Boosters would also like to invite JH parents to their monthly meetings.  The Morrison Athletic Boosters meet the 2nd Wednesday of each month in the high school cafeteria.  Please come out and support the booster meetings.

Fall Fundraiser 2010

Thank you for participating in our fall fundraiser. All money raised will be for student rewards. The grade level selling the most products will get a pizza/DJ party! Fundraiser products will be delivered to MJHS on Monday, November 22. Students and parents are responsible for taking the products home that day. Make sure you deliver your frozen and other products on this date and deliver to your customers as soon as possible. CASH PRIZES WILL NOT BE AWARDED UNLESS ALL MONIES HAVE BEEN COLLECTED AND TURNED IN TO M.J.H.S.

The Morrison Athletic Boosters will be holding their annual “Meet the Players” for winter sports on Fri., November 12 at the MHS Gym. Festivities will start at 5:30 P.M., when the concession stand will be open. Introductions will include cheerleaders, pons, and basketball for Junior High and High School members/players. The Boosters view this event as the kick-off for the start of the winter sports season. They encourage all students and participants, as well as their families, to attend.

Congratulations to all of our MJHS students who made the first quarter Honor Roll!!   Names will be posted in the local newspapers.

Thanks to all of our DADS who took time out of their busy schedules to come to MJHS to donate a portion of their day volunteering on October 29th! Everyone at MJHS is very appreciative and we extend a big THANK YOU for making our DVD (Dads Volunteer Day) a success!!

B.E.S.T., our Parent/Teacher group, would like to invite students to come celebrate making it through the first quarter while demonstrating their BEST behavior. Come to Morrison Junior High School, Friday, November 19, from 7:00 P.M. - 8:30 P.M. Enjoy a night of fun with many games such as “Minute To Win It”, sponge throw, basketball, ping pong, and other planned activities. Bring your invitation and enjoy a fun-filled night!

Each month, MJHS will send home a newsletter like this. It will include the month's lunch menu as well as any activities happening at MJHS and/or in the Morrison School District that pertain to our students. Families are encouraged to keep these monthly newsletters in a convenient spot at home for easy reference.
